Women’s Trauma Healing Group
Starting January 3rd, 2021
Monday’s 3-5 pm
Trauma is often the source of intrusive emotions and behavior. This group is focused on discovering and healing emotional wounds (trauma). This is not a processing, accountability, coaching, support or talk therapy group. Although all of those things will happen within group, this group is experiential in nature. Experiential therapy is where our emotional state is not just talked about but put into motion. In group you will actually experience your emotions and be able to feel, challenge, move through, and regulate them in the safety and support of group. This group is open to all women no matter age, relationship status, religious background or belief, or sexual identity.
What will happen in this group:
Create support with other women in a confidential community.
Support and receive support within the group on healing.
Learn tools and resources to put into action to lessen anxiety, fear, and worry.
Understand where these behaviors started and root emotional issues.
Understand shame and create shame resilience.
Work on related trauma connected to the unwanted intrusive behavior.
Restore self-confidence, sense of self, and freedom.
