About Me

Passion - Experience - creativity

Professional: I am a Counselor (ACMHC), recovery coach, speaker, trainer, and organization leader. I am the founder of [Accepted], where clients experience healed. Founder of Unashamed Unafraid a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to creating hope by providing resources for those in recovery for sexual addiction and their families. On the executive board of Warrior Heart which hosts retreats for men to reconnect with God and live fully alive.

Personal: In April of 2014, I came forward and started work on my own sexual addiction recovery. In January of 2016, I founded Unashamed Unafraid, a podcast that shares recovery stories and operates as a non-profit-501(c)(3) raising funds to pay for recovery resources of those struggling with addiction, and those betrayed by them. This organization became the heart of my personal recovery and growth. You can find my entire recovery story here. I have an incredible team that makes Unashamed Unafraid possible. I started speaking and mentoring in 2016.

In 2017 I joined the Warrior Heart Staff. I speak in a variety of venues and circumstances, but Warrior Heart Bootcamp is still my favorite place to speak. This path of mentorship, speaking, and participating in the self-help space led me to want to go deeper with people, which is why I went back to school to become a Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CMHC).

I’m grateful for the professionals who have trained me in the past and continue to mentor and teach me:

In Salt Lake, I run [Accepted] which includes my private practice, running workshops, training therapists and coaches, and creating healing communities. When I’m not working you can find me with my beautiful wife Kayla and two children riding motorcycles, hiking, playing in a pokemon tournament, or writing impromptu rap songs.

One of my greatest moments with clients is when I fire them. My hope is to help clients access that inner healing as quickly as possible, so they can stop spending time and money in therapy and live the adventure and experience the joys that life has in store for them.
